Q. Is Peri-Foam only useful for incontinence?

A. No. Although originally developed as a skin management product for incontinence, Peri-Foam is now being used as a full body wash for patients with limited mobility.

Q. Can Peri-Foam be used for Urinary and Faecal incontinence?

A. Yes. With Faecal incontinence, simply remove excess matter with toilet tissue and then wash the area with Peri-Foam applied to a damp wash cloth. No need to rinse off. Repeat if necessary.

Q. How often should I use Peri-Foam?

A. As often as required, Peri-Foam is water based and will not cause any build up of product on the skin.

Q. How much Peri-Foam should I use?

A. A small amount, about the size of a fifty cent piece on a damp wash cloth.No need to rinse off. Repeat if necessary.

Q. Can Peri-Foam be applied directly onto the skin?

A. Yes. If applied directly onto the skin, Peri-Foam will not melt or run with body heat. Use a damp wash cloth to clean the skin, repeat if necessary.

Q. Will Peri-Foam affect the absorbency of disposable or re-usable incontinence pads?

A. No. Peri-Foam is water based and will not affect the absorbency of pads.

Q. What are the benefits of Peri-Foam?

A. The ingredients of Peri-Foam combine to produce a one step skin management product to help maintain healthy intact skin.

Q. Is Peri-Foam only used in Aged Care?

A. No. Peri-Foam is now being used in Palliative Care as a full body wash, Home nursing, Community Nursing, Travelling, Outdoor activities, Camping etc. Peri-Foam can be used for any type of personal hygiene requirements.

Q. Why use Peri-Foam in place of soap and water?

A. Through controlled trials conducted in nursing home environments, Peri-Foam has proven to be more cost effective than soap and water and is far more soothing on the skin.
