approximately the last two years I have used the product
Peri-foam. I have found the product to be of excellent use
for the areas that require special care. I find it eliminates
all distasteful odours and is extremely beneficial for skin
that is subject to breakdown.

I am an Enrolled Nurse and I would like to express
my opinions in regards to the use of Peri-foam. I have used
it rather extensively and have found Peri-foam to be excellent
in many ways.

A very refreshing aroma

Excellent to use with incontinent patients;
i.e., cleans & refreshes quickly enabling less rubbing
around sensitive areas, the use of Chux is decreased.

Excellent to use on excoriated areas
– helps to clear up the rash.

Non-irritant on sensitive skin.

Able to wash & clean patients thoroughly
when water in hospital has been turned off for several
hours, so without the Peri-foam, we would have had a very
difficult situation.

I have used Peri-foam as a Palliative Care Nurse for the
past 12 months. I have found it exceptional as a cleansing,
deodorising and moisturiser product for Palliative Care
patients. Specifically it has been excellent in use with
patients with fungating tumors or discharge, such as Ca
of the vulva.
Patients have commented to me on the pleasantness of the
smell and its moisturising benefits. Particularly, it is
easy to use and cuts down the use of linen and other hygiene
resources. Overall I think it is an excellent product.

I have found it to be beneficial to the patient’s
skin in areas that are quite offensive as with fungating
tumors.

care. I find it is really good for patient’s skin,
the skin is very smooth and has a nice fresh smell. Also,
it makes nurse’s job much easier. I feel that it is
hard work without Peri-foam.
